The policy only affects the severity of portability-related issues (unsupported core:version, unknown core: fields, and unregistered required extensions). Structural and value errors are always Severity::Error.

Accept documents that may be valid under other SigMF versions or with extensions this application does not understand.

Unsupported versions, unknown core: fields, and unregistered required extensions are reported as Severity::Warning.

StrictSupportedVersion

Require a version and feature set this implementation certifies.

Unsupported versions, unknown core: fields, and unregistered required extensions are reported as Severity::Error.
